"Happy Birthday to you... and you!!"

My sister Lois Ann was born on May 12, 1959.
Twenty four years later to the day, she delivered her first child-
     Renee Elizabeth.
They share not only a birthday but a single heart.
Back in 1983, Mother's Day fell just a few days later.  What a double Blessing!

Closer then many mothers and daughters, they have a bond which is stronger than mere geographical chance. (Lois lives in North Canton and Renee is down south in North Carolina!)
A love between a mother and daughter is special.

"A mother's love for her child is like
nothing else in the world. It knows no
law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes
down remorselessly all that stands in its path."
                                       ~ Agatha Christie

A Taurus born May 12 is symbolized by the bull and has boundless energy.
No truer words have ever been spoken.  Lois can run circles around Mr. Clean!!

They share their birthday with celebrities such as Florence Nightingale (1820) and Yogi Berra (1925)
Yogi the athlete, not the bear!

"Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened.  Happiness never decreases by being shared."
So Happy Birthday to you Lois... and Renee!!

While we were born sisters, we grew up to be friends.  Thank you for being my sister and friend.

A final quote:

"What sets sisters apart from brothers and also from  friends is a very intimate meshing of heart, soul and the mystical cords of memory.  - Carol Saline
